A connection of your own
A Community SIM is a funded Kettle connection for someone in the UK who cannot afford their own. The Essential plan includes 3GB of UK data and unlimited UK calls and texts, subject to fair use.
The recurring plan charge to the recipient is £0 during the confirmed funding period. Optional paid extras are separate choices.
How it is supported
Each paid Kettle customer-month contributes one month of connection to the programme. A supporter may help a family member or friend through the supported code route, or contribute a place through the wider programme. Kettle manages applications and protects recipients’ privacy.
Your funding dates
Check the start and end dates in your account. Saving a code, submitting an application or receiving approval does not start the funding period. It starts with confirmed activation.
One funded connection per person
The programme checks identity and existing funded places. A code does not remove those checks. Paid family SIMs are handled separately.
