My SIM says pending, updating or not active

Understand activation and network changes without submitting the same request twice.

Check the status first

Open the selected SIM in your Kettle account. A pending or updating message means the network change has not yet been confirmed complete.

Payment, delivery of a physical SIM and installation of an eSIM are separate steps. None of them alone proves that service is active.

While a request is pending

  • Keep your existing order rather than starting another.

  • Refresh the account view and check the latest update time.

  • Keep any confirmation or reference number.

  • Contact support if the stated completion time passes or an error appears.

Network changes can take up to two hours, depending on the request. This is not a promise that every order will be active within two hours; applications and delivery can involve other steps.

Already paid?

Do not make another payment just because a connection is pending. Support can check the payment and network request together.

Tell us what you see

Include the affected mobile number or order reference, the status text and when it last changed. Remove eSIM QR codes and sign-in links from screenshots.
